Description

"Maimie" is a close-up study of a three month old little lady, who already has a huge personality! It was painted on buff tinted art card using a limited colour palette in graphite and soft pastels. As it was a surprise birthday gift for Maimie's mum I had to work from a compilation of photographs however I also managed to meet with the tiny 'model' which enabled me to study the way she smiled and reacted to people.

The picture is supplied complete with cream mount, glass and pale washed pine frame.
