Description
This oil painting on boxed canvas was commissoned as a gift by colleagues of a lady who had lived and worked in Stornoway for some time. It shows Tong Sands on the east coast of island, just as night begins to creep in, thus creating the dramatic skies we are so accustomed to in the Outer Hebrides.
In the distance is Stornoway Airport and the causeway to Point. |
