Each painting is an exciting journey for me which is made all the more thrilling when someone else likes the end product.  I thrive on finding new ways to capture some of the incredibly stunning island scenes on canvas, using various teqhniques to introduce texture and drama.

I also enjoy painting in soft hues and loose shapes to create mystic and lure the eye into the canvas. My work changes with my mood, a bit like the weather up here and there are days when I put my more contemporary style to one side and emmerse myself in detailed work, such as pastel portraits or figure drawing.
